Nuzhat
Located in Jaipur, Nuzhat is a duplex residence envisioned for a multi-generational family seeking a home that bridges cultural memory with contemporary living. The design intent was to craft a cohesive spatial narrative from two independent apartments, guided by the idea of “नुज़हत” — a sense of freshness, calm, and emotional ease embedded within everyday life.
Serenity is not added — it is revealed through clarity of space, depth of material, and the quiet rhythm of living.
Spatial planning is defined by fluid connectivity and layered zoning. The duplex unfolds through interconnected living spaces, dual lounges, and six bedrooms, allowing both collective engagement and personal retreat. Circulation is intuitive, with carefully aligned sightlines creating continuity across levels while subtly delineating private and shared domains.
A refined material palette anchors the interiors — warm neutrals enriched with deep reds and blues, natural stone surfaces, and bespoke woodwork. Thoughtfully integrated lighting enhances volume and softness, responding sensitively to the constraints of low ceiling heights while maintaining spatial elegance.
Nuzhat reflects Scapesmiths’ philosophy — a home shaped not by excess, but by balance, cultural resonance, and enduring quiet luxury.
